The name LinuXcien is derived from:
Linux – the famous operating system kernel, developed and maintained by Linus Torvalds and a whole team of interational multidisciplinary developers.
-ien – Latin -iānus ‘belonging toe, being with’

Our 24 track recording studio is currently based on a mix of proprietary and Open Source software. We are aiming to migrate over the years to a 100% Open Source solution.
